Official Rules
These official rules govern the Canada Lotto Picks: The 2025 Edition raffle. Please read these rules carefully before participating. By purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these rules and all applicable laws and regulations.
1.0 Eligibility Criteria
To participate in Canada Lotto Picks: The 2025 Edition, you must meet the following eligibility requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of ticket purchase. Age verification is mandatory and will be required during the registration and purchase process. We reserve the right to request government-issued identification to confirm your age. You must be a legal resident of the Province of Ontario, Canada. This raffle is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and is only available to residents within the province. Proof of residency may be required, and participation from outside Ontario is strictly prohibited. You must not be an employee, officer, director, or immediate family member of Canada Lotto Picks, its affiliates, or the organizations responsible for conducting the draw. Immediate family members include spouses, children, parents, siblings, and their spouses. You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and make purchases in accordance with Ontario law. If you are purchasing tickets on behalf of someone else, you must have explicit authorization and ensure that person meets all eligibility requirements. Any violation of these eligibility criteria will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes won, regardless of when the violation is discovered.
2.0 Ticket Purchase
Tickets are sold in pre-defined bundles, each offering a specific number of entries at a fixed price point. The available packages are: Starter Entry (30 tickets at $15), Value Choice (75 tickets at $25), Supporter Tier (200 tickets at $50), Impact Tier (425 tickets at $75), and Philanthropist (700 tickets at $100). All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include all applicable taxes. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using accepted payment methods, which include major credit cards, debit cards, and other secure online payment systems as specified on our website. Each ticket bundle provides a proportional number of entries into the Grand Draw scheduled for December 31, 2025. The more tickets you purchase, the greater your odds of winning, as each ticket represents a separate entry in the random selection process. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. All sales are final, and no exchanges or cancellations will be permitted except as required by law or in cases of technical errors that result in duplicate charges. The purchase deadline is December 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Any purchases attempted after this deadline will not be processed, and no exceptions will be made. It is your responsibility to ensure your purchase is completed before the deadline.
3.0 The Draw Mechanics
The Grand Draw will be conducted on December 31, 2025, using a certified Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been independently tested and verified for fairness and randomness. The RNG system is compliant with AGCO standards and generates truly random results that cannot be predicted or manipulated. The draw process will be conducted under the supervision of an independent auditor who will verify the integrity of the process and confirm the results. The auditor will be present during the entire draw procedure and will sign off on the official results. One winner will be selected from all valid entries. The winner will receive 50% of the total Grand Prize Fund, which is calculated based on 50% of all ticket sales revenue. The remaining 50% of ticket sales revenue is allocated to charitable causes as specified in our mission statement. The winning ticket number will be selected randomly, and the corresponding ticket holder will be declared the winner. In the event that multiple tickets are associated with a single purchase, the winner will be determined based on the specific ticket number selected by the RNG. Results will be posted immediately on our website following the completion of the draw. All participants will be notified via email if they have provided a valid email address during registration. The winner will be contacted directly using the contact information provided at the time of purchase.
4.0 Prize Claiming
The winner must claim their prize within 6 months of the draw date (by June 30, 2026). Failure to claim the prize within this timeframe will result in forfeiture, and the prize funds will be allocated to charitable causes as specified in our regulations. To claim the prize, the winner must provide valid government-issued identification confirming their identity, age, and residency in Ontario. Additional documentation may be required to verify eligibility and complete the prize transfer process. The winner will be required to complete a prize claim form and may be subject to a background check to confirm eligibility. Any false information provided during registration or purchase may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Tax obligations are the sole responsibility of the winner. Canada Lotto Picks will issue any required tax documentation, but the winner is responsible for reporting the prize income and paying any applicable taxes to the Canada Revenue Agency and the Province of Ontario. The prize will be paid via certified cheque or electronic bank transfer, as mutually agreed upon between Canada Lotto Picks and the winner. Payment will be processed within 30 business days of successful prize claim verification, subject to completion of all required documentation and verification procedures.
